hi. i having problem with the ranger skill storms embrace. its a run stance that should be renewed when taking elemental damag. so in theory you should be able to do storms then renew it with burning speed that is a skill. but i cant get it to work... is the skill broken or is the description wrong??

It's because Burning Speed doesn't actually cause elemental damage, it causes a condition that is burning.

hmm well its a burning condition.. tought those counted as elemental damage... oh welll.. another useless skill if there isnt a combo im not aware of

Another useless skill? This would be the first one I am aware of (except for Otyughs Cry, or however you spell that). The 2nd part of the skill is what makes it not useless, RENEWS with elemental damage. Just because a skill doesn't fit perfectly with another easy to use skill, doesn't make it worthless.

Well, Otyugh's Cry does have the bonus to armour as well, which can be useful for some party builds.

Unfortunately there are barely enough animals around one specific area to make it really useful =/ I think this skill should apply to your pet and other pets around you. But yeah... ANET obviously have some good reason not to change it (And I'm sure they do).

It DOES apply to your pet and the other pets in your party...

As for this stance, why the hell would you try to combine one run stance with another? They don't stack, otherwise all runners would be piling on the speed boosts and speedhacking their way across the map.

well im trying to find weird combos that can be used for something.... withthis i tried to make an fire nuker an marathon runner that could run forever without an enchantment that could be stripped... you can shurly think of some fun uses for that...
